AI visibility tools compared: which GEO monitoring tool measures your brand?

Nine AI visibility tools compared on euro price, AI engines, tracking frequency and Dutch prompts, for SMEs and agencies in Belgium and the Netherlands

AI visibility tools compared: which GEO monitoring tool measures your brand?

Summary

  • Nine tools measure how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews mention your brand, with prices and engines checked on 10 October 2026
  • Veesie ranks first for Dutch-speaking SMEs and agencies: measuring in Dutch, French and English on every plan, with Claude and Gemini included from Plus (€59 per month excl. VAT)
  • Veesie deliberately measures weekly, with a majority of 3 on Claude and Gemini, where the answers changed most often in our own test
  • No measurement is exact: according to SparkToro, the chance is less than 1 in 100 that ChatGPT or Google's AI, asked 100 times, gives the same list of brands twice
  • Since 31 August 2026 Search Console shows the impressions in Google's AI features for every website, a free complement for the Google side

Search Console has recently started showing how often you appear in Google’s AI Overviews. What ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Gemini say about your business, you will not find there. That is what GEO monitoring tools, also called AI visibility tools, are for: software that asks AI assistants the same questions every week or every day and tracks whether and how your brand turns up in the answers.

The market is growing fast. The lists you find about it are almost all in English, price in dollars and skip three questions a Belgian or Dutch buyer does have. Does the tool measure Dutch-language prompts? What does it cost in euros? And does it work for an agency with ten clients?

Those three questions are central to this overview, for nine tools, with prices as they stood on their own pricing pages on 10 October 2026.

How was this list put together?

Each tool was assessed on five points that matter to a buyer in Belgium or the Netherlands: which AI engines it measures, whether it handles Dutch- and French-language prompts, what the entry plan costs and in which currency, how often it measures, and whether it works for an agency with several clients. Prices, engines and trial periods were checked on 10 October 2026 on each tool’s own site.

The order follows relevance for a Dutch-speaking reader: first the tools that work in Dutch or charge in euros, then the AI modules of well-known SEO suites. Cairrot is at 8 because its pricing page says nothing about languages and measurement frequency, Profound at 9 because it targets large brands without a public price.

Four tools did not make the cut. AthenaHQ has a free Essential plan, but the first paid plan costs $295 per month, well above an SME budget. With Rankscale there is no way to establish which engines you get per plan, Promptwatch does not name its four models, and Am I On AI only measures ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.

The measurement accuracy of the tools is not weighed against each other here, because it cannot be tested from the outside. Links to the competing tools are not included; their names are enough. ClickForest, which handles GEO for SMEs and scale-ups in Flanders, compiled the list for anyone who has to make that choice: which tool do I pick, and what can I expect from it?

Which GEO monitoring tools are worth considering?

Nine, each with its own strength: Veesie for SMEs and agencies wanting a more stable weekly figure in their own language, Briljant.nl as a Dutch daily tracker, Peec AI and Otterly.AI as specialised international tools, Semrush, SE Ranking and Ahrefs as an add-on to an SEO suite you may already have, Cairrot with Claude in the Pro plan, and Profound for large brands. All prices as of October 2026.

1. Veesie

  • Best for: SMEs and agencies in Belgium and the Netherlands that measure in their own language and want a weekly figure with less noise
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): Starter €29 per month, or €24 with annual billing, for 20 prompts. Plus costs €59 (€49 with annual billing) for 30 prompts, Pro €99 (€82) for 50 prompts across 2 sites, Agency €450 (€370) via contact. All prices excl. VAT
  • Engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews on Starter; from Plus also Claude and Gemini
  • Strength: Dutch, French and English on every plan, competitors, sentiment and cited sources per answer, and a majority verdict on Claude and Gemini
  • Limitation: no daily measurement, so you will not spot a sudden drop within the day

Veesie records per prompt whether your brand is mentioned, which competitors appear in the same answer, with what sentiment and which sources the answer cites. An alert arrives by email or via a webhook, for example to Slack or Zapier, when your mention rate drops below a threshold, the tone turns negative or a competitor is mentioned more often than you. Veesie is built by ClickForest, the agency behind this article. ClickForest measures the AI visibility of clickforest.com and of its clients itself with Veesie. How a measurement runs and what you see in the dashboard is explained in what Veesie is and how it works.

You find which prompts to measure with the prompt explorer, which starts from your own pages, keywords or competitors. You choose the language per prompt. The trial runs for 7 days without a credit card and measures 3 times in that week, on day 0, 3 and 6: 10 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, without Claude and Gemini. From Plus, Claude and Gemini get each prompt up to 3 times per measurement, after which Veesie keeps the majority; the other sources get each prompt once.

The core of the dashboard is the GEO Score, a number from 0 to 100. The GEO Score is calculated over a fixed basket of ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews; from Plus, Claude and Gemini are shown separately. Mentions weigh 50 points, sentiment 25, source coverage 15 and the position in the answer 10. Veesie describes the score as its own index, not an industry standard.

From Plus there is also an AI-Readiness Audit with 20 checks on your site. From Pro, and also in the trial week, you get recommendations, an action plan, a content check and a GA4 integration that shows the traffic per AI source.

One caveat: Veesie measures via the providers’ APIs with search enabled. That approximates what a customer sees in the app, without being an exact copy of it.

2. Briljant.nl

  • Best for: Dutch-speaking SMEs that want daily measurement with a generous set of prompts
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): Pro €49 per month, or €399 per year; Agency €99 per month. Excl. 21% VAT
  • Engines: ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
  • Strength: 100+ prompts on Pro, daily measurement and content advice on what to change on your site
  • Limitation: Claude and Google AI Overviews are not among the listed engines

Briljant.nl calls itself the Dutch growth platform for AI visibility and is made in the Netherlands, with euro pricing and a 7-day trial. Through GEO Analytics it also measures the traffic from 16 or more AI platforms. Which prompt languages it supports, the pricing page does not say; test that in the trial week.

3. Peec AI

  • Best for: teams that measure across several countries and languages and pick their own models
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): Starter €85 per month with monthly billing, for 50 prompts and 3 models of your choice
  • Engines: 3 of your choice, from among others ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Perplexity; an extra model from €25 per month
  • Strength: any supported language or country at no extra cost, with daily measurement
  • Limitation: Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Mistral only in the Enterprise plan

Peec AI states clearly that language and country cost nothing extra, and the calculation is out in the open: the Visibility Score is the number of answers that mention your brand, divided by the total, times 100. VAT and the length of the trial are not on the pricing page.

4. Otterly.AI

  • Best for: a low entry price with Microsoft Copilot included
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): Lite $29 per month, or $25 with annual billing, for 15 prompts. In dollars, excl. taxes
  • Engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot; Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode as add-ons
  • Strength: daily measurement, with support for 50+ countries
  • Limitation: 15 prompts is tight, and with Claude and Gemini added you pay $67 per month on Lite

Otterly.AI has one of the lowest entry prices in this list and includes Copilot as standard. Claude costs $29 extra on Lite, Gemini and AI Mode $9. There is a free trial, with no stated length.

5. Semrush AI Visibility

  • Best for: agencies and SMEs that already work with Semrush
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): $99 per month per domain with annual billing, shown from Belgium as €94.94
  • Engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity
  • Strength: 25 custom prompts with daily measurement, plus a site audit on AI readiness, in the tool you already use
  • Limitation: the price is per domain; Copilot, Grok, Claude and DeepSeek only in Enterprise

For anyone already using Semrush for SEO, the AI Visibility Toolkit is the shortest route. For an agency, the pricing model matters: ten clients means ten times the entry price. Which languages the toolkit measures is not on the pricing page.

  • Best for: agencies that already work in SE Ranking and want to pay in euros
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): add-on of €79 per month (€63.20 with annual billing), on top of a Core base plan of €109 per month (€87.20 with annual billing)
  • Engines: Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT; the product page also mentions Gemini
  • Strength: 14-day trial without a credit card, and payment in euros
  • Limitation: €188 per month combined with monthly billing, and no Claude among the listed engines

The pricing page speaks of 7 supported markets without naming them, and the pricing and product pages disagree with each other about Gemini. Which languages you can measure is not stated; the 14-day trial is the moment to check that.

7. Ahrefs Brand Radar

  • Best for: existing Ahrefs users who want to search a large prompt database
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): custom prompts from €47 per month, and free with every paid Ahrefs plan from Lite
  • Engines: Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot; Claude in the all-platforms package
  • Strength: a database of 470M+ prompts, and custom prompts that are refreshed daily
  • Limitation: the pricing structure is hard to read, and languages or countries are not listed

Whether the database contains Dutch-language prompts, the page does not say. Before you expand, work out what all models together cost: the price blocks on the page are open to more than one reading.

8. Cairrot

  • Best for: anyone who wants Claude and Gemini in one plan, without add-ons
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): Starter $39 per month, for 15 prompts on ChatGPT and Perplexity
  • Engines: Starter measures ChatGPT and Perplexity; Pro ($99, 40 prompts) adds Gemini and Claude, DeepSeek is announced
  • Strength: Claude already in the Pro plan, Grok as an add-on from $25
  • Limitation: languages and measurement frequency are not on the pricing page, which itself carries no date

Cairrot is an alternative for anyone who wants to measure Claude without an enterprise plan. The amounts are in dollars, with no mention of VAT.

9. Profound

  • Best for: large brands with an enterprise budget
  • Entry price (as of October 2026): no public price; a free trial and then custom Enterprise pricing
  • Engines: the trial measures ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews; Enterprise up to 9 engines, including Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Copilot, DeepSeek and Claude
  • Strength: a 7-day trial with 50 prompts per day
  • Limitation: the trial measures 1 language and 1 region, and without a price there is nothing to compare

For an SME it is not an option as long as no price is public, although the trial week gives a first impression of how AI assistants talk about your brand.

How do the tools differ in price, engines and measurement frequency?

The biggest difference lies in three things: whether Claude and Gemini are included in the entry price, how often the tool measures, and whether the pricing page says anything about languages. Veesie and Peec AI are the clearest about languages; most other pricing pages are not. Veesie measures weekly, with a majority verdict on Claude and Gemini for less noise (more on measurement frequency); most other tools measure daily.

Tool Best for Entry price per month Engines Frequency Languages
Veesie SMEs and agencies in BE and NL that want a more stable weekly figure in their own language €29 (Starter, excl. VAT) ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews; from Plus also Claude and Gemini Weekly; Claude and Gemini as a majority of 3 Dutch, French, English on every plan
Briljant.nl Dutch SMEs that measure daily €49 (Pro, excl. VAT) ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity Daily Not stated
Peec AI Multiple countries and languages €85 (Starter) 3 of your choice; Claude only in Enterprise Daily Any supported language, at no extra cost
Otterly.AI Low entry with Copilot $29 (Lite, excl. tax) ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot; rest as add-on Daily 50+ countries, languages not stated
Semrush AI Visibility Existing Semrush users $99 per domain (annual billing) ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity Daily Not stated
SE Ranking AI Search Existing SE Ranking users €79 add-on, plus Core base plan €109 AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, ChatGPT Not stated 7 markets, not named
Ahrefs Brand Radar Existing Ahrefs users From €47 (custom prompts) AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot Daily (custom prompts) Not stated
Cairrot Claude and Gemini in one plan $39 (Starter) ChatGPT, Perplexity; Pro also Gemini and Claude Not stated Not stated
Profound Large brands Custom, free trial Trial: ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews Daily (trial) Trial: 1 language, 1 region

Look at Claude and Gemini and the picture shifts. Veesie Plus is cheaper than Cairrot Pro and Peec Starter and includes Claude and Gemini in the price. With Otterly.AI, both add-ons bring you to $67 per month, in the same range as Plus, with 15 prompts and daily measurement. How those engines themselves differ is covered in the comparison of ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity.

Do compare the amounts with care: Otterly.AI charges in dollars excluding taxes, Veesie and Briljant.nl in euros excluding VAT, and Peec AI and Cairrot say nothing about VAT.

Does a GEO tool also measure Dutch- and French-language prompts?

Two tools say so in as many words. Veesie measures in Dutch, French and English on every plan, and Peec AI measures any supported language at no extra cost. For Briljant.nl, Otterly.AI, Semrush, SE Ranking, Ahrefs and Cairrot, the pricing page says nothing about languages; there the trial period is the only way to find out.

Google AI Overviews and AI Mode are available in Belgium and in the Netherlands, with Dutch as a supported language, according to Google Search Help. On 8 October 2025 Google announced the rollout of AI Mode in, among others, Dutch and in the Netherlands (Google Netherlands). A tool that only measures English prompts is measuring a different question from the one your customer asks.

For Belgian businesses French comes on top of that, which calls for a tool that lets you choose the language per prompt. Test it during the trial with a few Dutch-language prompts and one in French, and check whether the answers come back in that language. How Belgian websites are faring today is shown in the research into 200 scanned Belgian websites.

Which GEO tool suits a marketing agency with several clients?

A tool that allows a separate site or brand per client, shares reports without the client having to log in, and has a price that stays manageable per extra client. Veesie Agency costs €450 per month, €370 with annual billing, via contact, with white-label, bulk measurements and CSV export. Briljant.nl has an Agency plan of €99 per month with 300+ prompts, and Peec AI scales to 150 or 350 prompts.

Calculate per brand. Semrush charges $99 per domain, which adds up quickly with ten clients, and with SE Ranking and Ahrefs the cost depends on the base plan your agency already has. Veesie Pro covers 2 sites with 50 prompts between them.

How reliable is a measurement of AI visibility?

Indicative. AI assistants give a different answer to the same question every time. According to research by SparkToro, the chance that ChatGPT or Google’s AI, asked 100 times, names the same list of brands in two answers is less than 1 in 100. A useful measurement therefore asks many questions, repeats them and looks at the share of mentions.

For the same order the chance is even smaller, closer to 1 in 1,000. In that research, 600 volunteers ran 12 different prompts through ChatGPT, Claude and Google’s AI a combined 2,961 times. It is American research on 12 prompts and counts here as indicative. In his write-up for SparkToro, Rand Fishkin draws a hard conclusion from it:

“Measuring your brand’s presence in AI answers with precision is a fool’s errand.”

— Rand Fishkin, co-founder and CEO of SparkToro

Fishkin revised his position on one point. He writes: “I’ve been swayed from my initial position and now believe visibility % across dozens to hundreds of prompts run multiple times is a reasonable metric.” On positions he remains unrelenting:

“But, any tool that gives a “ranking position in AI” is full of baloney.”

— Rand Fishkin, co-founder and CEO of SparkToro

That applies to Veesie too. In the GEO Score, the position in the answer counts for 10 of the 100 points, per answer, and that weighting is damped when your brand is rarely mentioned. Mentions weigh the most, at 50 points. If you follow Fishkin, you ignore position entirely and look only at the share of mentions. In Veesie you can also read a mention percentage per source, separate from the GEO Score.

Comparing tools with each other makes little sense for the same reason. Paul Dyer, CEO of the agency /prompt, put it like this in Digiday:

“If you use three different tools and give them the same prompts, you get three different answers.”

— Paul Dyer, CEO of /prompt

So pick one tool and follow the trend within that tool over a few months.

Should you measure daily or weekly?

For most SMEs weekly is enough, as long as the measurement absorbs the noise in AI answers. A daily measurement with 1 answer per prompt shows random fluctuations as movement. A weekly measurement with a majority verdict on Claude and Gemini, where the noise in our own test was greatest, yields fewer but more reliable data points.

We measured how large that noise is on 25 August 2026 with Veesie on clickforest.com: within one hour, 5 identical measurements ran, with 12 prompts across 5 sources. The GEO Score came out at 85, 87, 84, 88 and 85. Per combination of prompt and source, 23% changed outcome without anything having changed; with a majority of 3, calculated on the same 5 measurements, that would drop to 8%. On Perplexity, not a single combination of prompt and source changed outcome. One caveat applies: 5 measurements is few, so that 8% is a lower bound.

Repetition is exactly what Rand Fishkin recommends: anyone who really wants to know which recommendations an AI gives should, in his view, ask “over and over again”, usually at least 60 to 100 times, and take the average. Veesie asks a prompt up to 3 times on Claude and Gemini and once on the other sources, so it repeats where the answers changed most often in our test. If you change something on your site, you can start an extra measurement in Veesie straight away with the manual measurement button: once a week from Plus, once a month on Starter. If you want to see a sudden drop within the day, you are better off with a tool that measures daily.

At least as important is the number of prompts. The entry plans vary widely: 15 with Otterly.AI and Cairrot, 20 with Veesie, 25 with Semrush, 50 with Peec AI and 100+ with Briljant.nl. Joseph Levi, CEO at Noise Media Group, summed up in Digiday what he believes still holds:

“The only thing really, which seems to be consistent and genuinely useful is seeing how often your brand appears within different types of queries.”

— Joseph Levi, CEO at Noise Media Group

What can you measure without a paid tool?

The Google side, and a manual sample of the rest. Since June 2026 Search Console has had separate reports for impressions in Google’s generative AI features, such as AI Overviews and AI Mode, per page, country, device and date, and since 31 August 2026 for all websites. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini are not included.

The announcement is on the Google Search Central Blog. For the other assistants, a fixed list of prompts that you ask yourself periodically and write down does the job; how to go about it is explained in measuring whether ChatGPT already mentions your business today.

Look beyond clicks while you are at it. A mention in an AI answer does not always lead to a visit, and why that changes your findability is set out in why zero-click searches change your findability.

What do you do with the figures from a GEO tool?

You look for the prompts where competitors are mentioned and you are not, and you check which sources feed those answers. In Veesie you see that per prompt. The improvement lies in your content, your technical foundation and your mentions on other sites. A next measurement then shows whether those changes move your share of mentions.

Where do you start? With content that answers questions literally, using GEO strategies you can apply yourself. With a technical foundation that AI systems can read, through structured data for better AI visibility. And with the understanding that GEO rests on SEO, explained in the evolution from SEO to GEO and in how to combine SEO and AI.

ClickForest handles GEO for SMEs and scale-ups in Flanders, including e-commerce brands, with fixed prompt sets that the target audience really asks AI and a report with the concrete mentions. How that track works is on the page about GEO optimisation, and for businesses in the region there is the local offer in Mechelen and Antwerp. If you are rather looking for an agency that suits you, the overview of GEO agencies in Belgium puts fourteen Belgian players side by side.

Conclusion: which GEO monitoring tool should you choose?

Choose on language, engines and budget, in that order. If you measure in Dutch or French, test the language and the sources in Veesie’s trial week, and choose Plus if you want Claude and Gemini included. Want to measure daily? Then look at Briljant.nl or Peec AI. Already working in Semrush, SE Ranking or Ahrefs? Try their AI module first.

What struck us most: how few pricing pages say anything about language. For a Flemish or Dutch buyer, that is precisely the first question. So use the trial period with your own prompts in your own language. Then read every score with Fishkin in mind: the share of mentions across many prompts is useful, a position in an AI answer is not.

If you want a baseline measurement and a diagnosis first, a GEO audit is the starting point. ClickForest handles GEO for SMEs and scale-ups in Flanders and measures those tracks with Veesie; the approach is on the page about GEO optimisation. For the broader SEO and GEO toolkit there is the overview of AI tools for marketers, and the terms used in this article are in the glossary.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A GEO monitoring tool asks AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews the same set of questions at fixed intervals, and records whether your brand appears in the answers. What a tool shows beyond that varies: Veesie, for example, also records competitors in the same answer, the sentiment and the cited sources.

Not exactly. Veesie measures via the providers' APIs with search enabled, which approximates what a customer sees in the app without being a copy of it. Because answers also differ from one time to the next, a measurement is best read as a trend across many prompts.

No. A tool measures whether you are mentioned, it does not decide what a language model cites, and no vendor or agency has control over that. According to ClickForest, which handles GEO for SMEs and scale-ups in Flanders, the honest yardstick is the direction of your mentions over a few months.

Enough to average out random fluctuations. Rand Fishkin of SparkToro calls the share of mentions across dozens to hundreds of prompts, run multiple times, a reasonable metric. The entry plans in this overview give you from 15 to 100 or more prompts. The more prompts a plan allows, the less a single random answer determines your figure.

For the Google side, not always: since 31 August 2026 Search Console shows the impressions in Google's generative AI features, such as AI Overviews and AI Mode, for every website. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini are not included, and that is exactly what a GEO monitoring tool is for.

ClickForest handles GEO for SMEs and scale-ups in Flanders, from Bonheiden near Mechelen, and tracks fixed prompt sets that the target audience really asks AI. If you want a one-off assessment first, you can start with a GEO audit, and if you want to weigh other options, the same site has an overview of GEO agencies in Belgium.
