What is Veesie? How to track every week whether AI recommends your business
Veesie measures every week whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews mention your business. How it works, what it costs.
Summary
- Veesie measures every week whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews mention your brand, in Dutch, French and English, with each model's search function on
- The GEO Score from 0 to 100 has a public formula: mention rate 50%, sentiment 25%, source coverage 15% and position 10%
- Five identical measurements on one day gave 85, 87, 84, 88 and 85, and Claude and Gemini get every question up to three times to dampen the noise
- From €29 a month, or €24 a month with annual billing, excluding VAT, with a free 7-day trial week without a credit card; the dashboard is in Dutch for now
- Veesie is a brand of its own that ClickForest built, and ClickForest uses it itself to measure the AI visibility of its clients
Ask ChatGPT which agency, webshop or installer it recommends in your region, and see whether your own name comes up. Done that before? Then probably once. We built Veesie because we wanted to know this for ourselves and our clients, in a way that holds up. Since October 2026 the platform is open to everyone. In this article you read what Veesie measures, what it does differently, what you see in the dashboard, what it costs and how to start the free trial week.
What is Veesie exactly?
Veesie is a GEO monitoring tool that measures every week whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews mention your brand when someone asks a question about your market. For each answer, Veesie records whether you are mentioned, in which position, with what tone and next to which competitors. It sums that up in a GEO Score from 0 to 100.
What that gives you is easiest to see in a fictional example. A web design agency in Ghent tracks the question “Which agency do you recommend for a new website in Ghent?”. In Veesie it sees that ChatGPT names three competitors and not the agency itself, that Perplexity does mention it but in fourth place, and which pages both read to get there: an overview list on a regional site, the project page of a competitor and a review site. Then you know what to work on, and on which site you are still missing.
Veesie is a brand of its own that ClickForest built from scratch, and we are proud of it. ClickForest provides GEO for SMEs in Flanders and measures both clickforest.com and its clients’ sites with Veesie. How it was built with Claude Code, following our approach to building with AI, is in the Veesie case study.
What makes Veesie different from other GEO tools?
Veesie stands apart on language, price and noise reduction. It measures in Dutch, French and English on every plan, and Claude and Gemini are already included in Plus, for €59 a month. Our comparison of nine AI visibility tools puts it next to the alternatives, with prices as of October 2026. These are the points that stand out most:
- Dutch, French and English on every plan. Starter measures in all three languages too. For most other tools, the pricing page says nothing about languages.
- Claude and Gemini in Plus. Veesie Plus is cheaper than Cairrot Pro and Peec Starter and includes Claude and Gemini in the price.
- A majority verdict on Claude and Gemini. Those two get every question up to 3 times per measurement, and Veesie keeps the majority.
- A public formula. How the GEO Score is calculated is on the Veesie website, so you know what a rise means.
- Prices in euros, excluding VAT. As with Briljant.nl, while Otterly.AI and Cairrot charge in dollars.
- Built by an agency that uses it itself. ClickForest measures the AI visibility of clickforest.com and of its clients with Veesie.
Which AI assistants does Veesie measure, and in which languages?
Veesie measures five AI sources: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, the AI summary at the top of the Google results. On every plan Veesie measures in Dutch, French and English, since 1 September 2026. The Veesie dashboard itself is currently available in Dutch only. Starter measures the three sources ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews; from Plus, Claude and Gemini are added.
Why those five? They are four widely used AI assistants, plus the AI layer in Google itself. According to Eurostat, 42.0% of Belgians aged 16 to 74 used generative AI in the 3 months before the 2025 survey, against 32.7% across the EU. Almost 1 in 3 Belgians say they used an AI assistant when shopping in the past year, according to Adyen research from 2025. Each of those assistants answers differently, and a brand that scores well in ChatGPT can be missing in Gemini. How the models themselves differ is in our comparison of Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, and how Belgian websites are doing today is shown in the study of 200 scanned Belgian websites.
Veesie measures Google AI Overviews straight from the real Google results. There is a separate explanation of that source at veesie.com/en/google-ai-overviews.
How does a measurement in Veesie work?
A measurement asks your questions live to each AI source, with the model’s search function on, and then reads out every answer. Veesie does not simulate from model memory. When a model cites sources, Veesie stores them with the answer, as a clickable link. So you also see which pages the AI read to get there.
You do not pick the questions blindly. When you add a website, Veesie reads your site and suggests questions of three kinds: broad, per service and local. The question explorer then searches further from your own pages, your keywords or your competitors, with the search volume of your sector alongside. If there is no reliable figure for a market, Veesie leaves the field empty.
The read-out itself has been tested. Across 655 answers over seven days, Veesie missed no mention that was literally in the text, and recorded no mention without grounds.
“Consumers are increasingly discovering and considering brands and products in AI platforms, but measurement frameworks haven’t kept pace.”
— Caroline Giegerich, VP AI at IAB
What does the GEO Score tell you?
The GEO Score is a single number from 0 to 100 that sums up how well your brand performs in AI answers. Veesie calculates it itself, which is why the formula is public on the Veesie features page. That way you know what a rise in your score means and where it comes from. Four components count:
| Component | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Mention rate | 50% | How often your brand is mentioned in the answers |
| Sentiment | 25% | The tone in which the AI talks about your brand |
| Source coverage | 15% | In how many of the three fixed sources you are mentioned |
| Position | 10% | Where you appear in the answer |
On every plan the score is calculated over the same three sources: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Claude and Gemini are measured and shown from Plus, but do not count. Anyone who changes plan therefore does not see their line jump because of a different basket. A score of 70 or higher is called Excellent, 50 to 69 Good, 30 to 49 Fair and below 30 Weak. Terms like mention rate and source coverage are also in our glossary.
Veesie itself calls the GEO Score an index of its own, not an industry standard. Rand Fishkin of SparkToro, who researched the inconsistency of AI recommendations, calls a comparable metric reasonable:
“I’ve been swayed from my initial position and now believe visibility % across dozens to hundreds of prompts run multiple times is a reasonable metric.”
— Rand Fishkin, co-founder and CEO of SparkToro
What do you see in Veesie besides the score?
Besides the GEO Score, Veesie shows per question and per source who appears in the answer. Competitors appear with their share and their tone next to those of your own brand. The citation overview shows which of your pages were used as a source and by which model, which other domains the models in your market trust, and for which questions none of your pages is cited.
After every measurement comes an email report with the evolution of your GEO Score. Alerts tell you when your mention rate drops below a threshold you choose yourself, when the tone about your brand turns negative or when a competitor is mentioned more often than you. Those alerts arrive by email, and if you want, also via a webhook, for example in Slack or Zapier.
From Plus, the AI-Readiness Audit runs 20 checks on your site, ten for SEO and ten for GEO, and puts the most important improvements at the top. From Pro, Veesie writes GEO Recommendations based on your latest measurements, puts them in an action plan, and the GA4 connection shows in your own visitor figures how much traffic AI brings in. A mention without a click brings no visit and so appears nowhere in GA4; that is what the measurement itself is for, just as with other searches that end without a click. With the content check, from Pro and also in the trial week, you hold a page against your own questions and see per question whether an AI model would cite it, with a reason.
“The only thing really, which seems to be consistent and genuinely useful is seeing how often your brand appears within different types of queries.”
— Joseph Levi, CEO at Noise Media Group

Why does Veesie measure weekly?
Veesie measures every week at a fixed moment, and on top of that you start a measurement yourself as soon as you change something on your site. With the “Meting starten” (start measurement) button you measure at the moment there is really something to measure: once a week from Plus, once a month on Starter. If you want to measure less often, you choose every two weeks or monthly.
That the weekly figure is stable enough to steer by was shown by a test on 25 August 2026. Within one hour, 5 identical measurements ran on clickforest.com, with 12 questions across 5 sources. The GEO Score came out at 85, 87, 84, 88 and 85: 4 points between the highest and the lowest, with nothing changed. So the test shows that the score stays stable on repetition; what daily measuring would add, it does not measure.
Underneath that stable score, plenty changed. In 14 of the 60 combinations of question and source, the answer came out differently from one run to the next, and 10 of those 14 came from Claude and Gemini. On Perplexity, not a single combination of question and source changed outcome. That is why Veesie asks Claude and Gemini every question up to three times and keeps the majority. Calculated on the same 5 measurements, the share of changing outcomes drops from 23% to 8%. It remains one test on one site, with the models of the time: Claude Haiku 4.5, replaced by Haiku 5.5 since 8 October 2026.
“A brand’s visibility on a given query is a distribution, not a value, and any metric derived from one response per query reflects a sample of one.”
— IAB, Measuring Visibility in the AI Era
Who is Veesie made for?
Veesie is made for SMEs, marketers and agencies in Belgium and the Netherlands who want to know whether AI assistants recommend their brand, and who want to measure that in their own language. An SME with one website rarely has more than 30 buying questions that really matter, and that is what Plus is built for.
For a marketer, Veesie is the follow-up of what you change on your site: per measurement you see whether your share of mentions moves, and from Pro you see in GA4 what AI brings in in visitors. For an agency there is Agency, with white-label reports, bulk measurements and CSV export. ClickForest, which provides GEO for SMEs and scale-ups in Flanders, uses Veesie the same way for its clients, from a first GEO audit to an ongoing programme.
Whether there are already figures for your sector, you can see on the Veesie benchmark page: anonymised sector figures for Belgium and the Netherlands, as soon as a sector counts at least 5 measured companies. If you first want to understand how AI visibility works, read what GEO is and how it differs from SEO or how to get ChatGPT to recommend your business.
What does Veesie cost?
Veesie costs from €29 a month for Starter, or €24 a month with annual billing. All prices exclude VAT and apply in October 2026. With annual billing the monthly price is always lower, 17 to 18% depending on the plan, so always compare the same billing method. Agency goes through contact. The plans side by side:
| Plan | Per month | Per month with annual billing | Websites and questions | AI sources and extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €29 | €24 | 1 site, 20 questions | ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews |
| Plus | €59 | €49 | 1 site, 30 questions | All 5 sources, plus the AI-Readiness Audit |
| Pro | €99 | €82 | 2 sites, 50 questions in total | All 5 sources, plus GEO Recommendations, action plan and GA4 connection |
| Agency | €450 | €370 | 3 sites, 50 questions per site | All 5 sources, plus white-label, bulk measurements and CSV export, via contact |
You can change plan at any time, without lock-in, and your history is kept. The full comparison is on the Veesie pricing page.
How do you get started with Veesie?
You start with a free trial week of 7 days, without a credit card. You create an account on veesie.com, add your website and choose from the questions Veesie suggests. Good to know before you start: the dashboard is currently available in Dutch only, while your questions can be in Dutch, French or English. The trial week measures 10 questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, three times: at setup, on day 3 and on day 6. So you already see a trend within the week.
Choose your questions the way your customers ask them. “Which agency do you recommend for a webshop in Antwerp?” tells you more than your brand name alone. A few broad questions, a few per service and a few local ones give a fair picture. If you then find that your brand is rarely mentioned, the improvement lies in your content, your technical foundation and your mentions on other sites. That is what our GEO strategies and the page on GEO optimisation are about.
Conclusion
Anyone who wants to know whether AI assistants recommend their business needs a weekly measurement across five sources, with the same questions every week. We built Veesie for ourselves first, and today ClickForest uses it to measure the GEO programmes of SMEs in Flanders.
After the trial week you know which questions AI assistants mention your business for and which they do not, which competitors are named in your place, and which pages the AI read to get there. You have three data points, and so already a first trend. Start the free Veesie trial week.

Frequently asked questions
Veesie is a GEO monitoring tool that measures every week whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews mention your brand. It records the mention, the position, the tone and the competitors for each answer, and sums that up in a GEO Score from 0 to 100.
No, Veesie is a brand of its own that ClickForest built, with its own website and its own subscriptions. ClickForest, which provides GEO for SMEs in Flanders, does use Veesie itself to measure the AI visibility of its clients.
Not exactly. Veesie asks the questions through the providers' APIs, with search switched on: for ChatGPT with a dedicated search model, for Perplexity with the same model as the free app, for Claude and Gemini with a lighter model that uses the same search layer. With search on, it is mainly that search layer that determines which sources and brands appear. Which brand is named first can still differ from what someone sees in the app today. Week after week the measurement gives a stable trend, with less noise than single questions.
For Google's AI features, Search Console has shown impressions per page since 31 August 2026, but no clicks or queries. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini are not in it, and those are exactly what Veesie adds.
Yes, with a 7-day trial week without a credit card. It measures 10 questions on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, three times that week. The dashboard is currently in Dutch only.
ClickForest provides GEO for SMEs and scale-ups in Flanders, from a one-off GEO audit to an ongoing programme. Follow-up runs on Veesie, so you see every week whether the changes move your share of mentions.
