VF Bioscience: a 3-part Claude AI training for the leadership of a biotech company

A biotech company wanted to embed Claude AI as a permanent work partner for the management. No theory, just direct application to real workflows.
Challenge
VF Bioscience wanted to deploy Claude AI strategically for research, document management and internal reporting. The question: how does the leadership move from "just trying something out" to truly anchoring Claude in the daily workflow?
Approach
A tailored 3-part training in 2-hour sessions, on location. Per session: from fundamentals to advanced applications, with hands-on practice on real VF Bioscience use cases. Between sessions, room to experiment and bring questions to the next meeting.
Session 1 — Fundamentals: prompts and Claude.ai
The first session lays the foundation: how Claude works, writing strong prompts and exploring the Claude.ai interface. With direct application to research, documents and texts the leadership handles every day. The goal of this session: from "just trying it" to daily use, with enough confidence to apply Claude outside the sessions.
Session 2 — Projects and a personal work assistant
In the second session, we build Claude into a personal work assistant. Setting up Projects for recurring workflows, using memory and custom instructions, and leveraging Cowork features. Concretely for VF Bioscience: handling reports, e-mails and analyses that otherwise consume a lot of time, faster and more consistently.
Session 3 — MCPs, Claude for code and Skills
The third session goes one layer deeper: Model Context Protocol (MCPs) to connect Claude to your own tools and data, Claude for code tasks, and Skills for reusable workflows. The content is partly shaped by the questions and use cases that emerged during sessions 1 and 2, so the deep dive matches what the leadership concretely wants to move forward with.
Self-sufficient with Claude
After the three sessions, the participants can write prompts independently and apply Claude to their daily tasks.
