Challenge: Studio Play lost their Instagram account due to a hack. The existing webshop no longer met the expectations of modern customers.
Approach: First Instagram successfully restored thanks to our connections at Meta. Then a full UX audit (Hotjar heatmaps & recordings), followed by a brand new Shopify webshop, linked to their POS system across three stores.
Recovery and growth: from hack to new web shop
When Studio Play lost their Instagram account, they could count on immediate action through ClickForest . With our contacts at Meta, the account - with more than 40,000 followers - was safely retrieved within days. This news even made it to the Gazet van Antwerpen.
After this crisis recovery, it immediately became clear that the digital strategy needed revamping. We conducted a thorough UX/UI audit with Hotjar (heatmaps & recordings) to identify customer behavior and bottlenecks on the existing website. Based on this, we built a completely new wireframe and then the full Shopify web shop, including seamless linking to their physical stores via the Shopify POS system. With this approach, we achieved a conversion-oriented shop that is ready for online marketing and growth.
Online marketing, SEO & real-time dashboarding
After the successful launch of the webshop, ClickForest started a full-service marketing process: Meta and Instagram ads (catalog sales, conversion, awareness & traffic), Google Search & Display, Google Shopping via Merchant Center. For Studio Play, we also built a real-time dashboard in which all results - from ROAS to sales and visitors - can be monitored live.
SEO was given a prominent place in the strategy: from technical optimization to SEO audits with Ubersuggest and Google Search Console.
